Dennis Rabe

Summary:
Dennis was a Green Beret, Combat Diver and a veteran of the Afghanistan war. He joined 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne) in 2007, when he deployed to Afghanistan in 2007 and 2008. He was transferred to the 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne), where he deployed to Afghanistan in 2016. Upon returning to Fort Carson, Dennis was assigned as the team sergeant for an ODA 0215.
Dennis was definitely a family man. No matter how hard he worked to serve our country, he always made time to see his kids and loved ones as much as possible. He was a loving husband, father, son and friend to so many. His smile was contagious. He was adventurous and lived his life to the fullest.
Life Achievements/ Recognitions:
Sept. 30, 1999 - entered the military earning the MOS 19D, Cavalry Scout
2006 - *graduated the Special Forces Qualification Course, earning the MOS 18E, Communications Sergeant
Some, but not all of his awards and decorations include the Combat Infantry Badge, Recruiting Badge- Silver, Senior Parachutist Badge, Special Operations Dive Supervisor Badge, three Bronze Star Medals, two Meritorious Service Medals, Joint Service Commendation Medal, one Army Commendation Medal for Valor, three Army Commendation Medals and the prestigious Audie Murphy Award
